Securitas Hong Kong successfully hosted Securitas Day 2026, bringing together clients, business leaders, security professionals and technology partners for an afternoon dedicated to innovation, collaboration and the future of corporate security.

Held at The Executive Centre, Level 2, No. 28 Stanley Street, Central, the event was built around the theme “Intelligence-led security in action”, exploring how artificial intelligence, connected platforms, autonomous technologies and human expertise can help organisations move from reactive security towards more predictive, intelligence-led decision-making.

From more technology to better security

Technology is transforming the security industry at extraordinary speed. But Securitas Day 2026 focused on a simple principle: the future of security is not about adopting technology simply because it is new or impressive.

The real value comes when technology is integrated, stable, intelligent and practical, connecting data, people and security operations in ways that help organisations identify risks earlier and respond more effectively.

This thinking was reflected throughout the event, with discussions and demonstrations spanning AI-powered analytics, autonomous technologies, integrated security ecosystems, robotics and other emerging security applications. The original event programme was designed to help organisations understand how AI-driven insights and connected solutions can help them stay ahead of emerging risks.

It is also central to Securitas Hong Kong’s wider ambition for the event: strengthening its security technology ecosystem while creating an environment where clients, consultants, decision-makers and technology partners can exchange market insights, explore emerging trends and identify opportunities to create mutual commercial value.

Exploring AI and the future of security

A major highlight of the afternoon was the panel discussion,“How to Leverage AI and the Future of Security.”

The panel brought perspectives from security, technology, risk and cyber professionals to examine how AI is changing the way organisations detect, understand and respond to risk.

One of the central messages was that AI should strengthen decision-making rather than simply add another layer of technology. The discussion framework explored practical AI adoption, the changing capabilities required of security leaders, and common misconceptions about AI in security. Its conclusion emphasised that lasting resilience still depends on trusted data, clear accountability, skilled people and the right balance between intelligent automation and human judgement.

This reflects the broader Securitas vision demonstrated throughout the day: bringing people, technology and expertise together to turn information into meaningful security intelligence.

Innovation brought to life

Securitas Day was designed to go beyond presentations.

Partner mini-pitches and technology showcases gave visitors opportunities to engage directly with the technologies and the people behind them. The final programme featured partner presentation sessions followed by technology showcases and dedicated networking time, creating a combination of strategic discussion and hands-on exploration.

The experience demonstrated the importance of a strong technology ecosystem. Rather than considering individual products in isolation, Securitas continues to explore how different capabilities can work together as part of an integrated security environment.

This ecosystem approach is particularly important as security becomes increasingly interconnected with data, IT infrastructure, operational resilience and wider business risk.

Launching the Global Technology Outlook Report 2027

Securitas Day 2026 also marked the Hong Kong release of Securitas’ Global Technology Outlook Report 2027, reinforcing the event’s focus on looking beyond today’s security challenges and preparing for what comes next.

The report brings a global perspective on the technologies and developments shaping the future of security, providing another platform for conversations with clients and partners about how innovation can be translated into practical, resilient and future-ready security strategies.

Collaboration at the heart of Securitas Day

The most important outcome of Securitas Day 2026 was community collaboration.

That collaboration could be seen throughout the preparation and delivery of the event. The event was developed to bring together clients, consultants, industry partners and decision-makers from different sectors, giving participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore where security is heading next.

Following the event, Securitas Hong Kong described the day as a success characterised by“technology, innovation, collaboration, and inspiration,” highlighting the strong visitor engagement with the cutting-edge technologies on display and thanking supporting partners for innovating alongside Securitas.

Building what comes next, together

The security challenges facing organisations are becoming more complex, but the opportunities created by technology, intelligence and collaboration are growing at the same time.

Securitas Day 2026 demonstrated that the future should not be defined by technology for technology’s sake. It should be about combining the right technology, reliable integration, actionable intelligence and human expertise to solve real-world security challenges.

For Securitas Hong Kong, the event also reinforced the importance of an open and collaborative security ecosystem, where clients, partners and security professionals can learn from each other and develop stronger solutions together.

Securitas Hong Kong extends its sincere appreciation to all supporting and innovation partners, clients, visitors and colleagues who contributed their time, expertise and enthusiasm to Securitas Day 2026.

The event may have concluded, but the conversations and collaborations are only beginning.
