Securitas’ highly trained and motivated security guards and mobile patrol officers are responsible for the security and safety of people and property in a wide range of market sectors including leading hotels, banks, commercial and residential developments, utility companies, sea and air ports and other high risk installations.
Each guard is thoroughly vetted prior to employment and then undergoes an intensive training course which incorporates the role playing of real life situations. All training courses are structured to enhance efficiency with the emphasis on customer care at all times. Guards and mobile patrol officers are monitored by 24–hour control rooms and are also subject to regular telephone checks and audits. Field Supervisors make regular visits to guards’ on-the-job paying particular attention to quality and standards of service.
Securitas has also evolved a highly successful security team concept whereby teams of guards are formed and trained for specific security contracts including hotel industry and commercial complexes. Tailor-made security packages can also be designed for organizers of promotional and sporting events.
